- GranMa Sandy's Roast Beef
- A perfect recipe to stick to your bones on a cold winters
- Preparation Time: 1 hour
- ½ cup of water
- ½ tsp of cracked pepper (do not add salt)
- ½ package of Au Jus from the spice isle at grocers
(this has plenty of salt).
- Brown roast in large heavy pot, searing on all sides.
- After browned on all sides add pepper and spice
- Cover with tin foil and a tightly fitted lid
- Slow cook on simmer for 4-6 hrs
- Serve with Yorkshire Pudding
